Another poster here (sorry, I can't remember where the post was, but you can do a search) had a reminder to always remember to go into the BIOS after a BIOS update and pick the option to set everything to the default values. Good point! This is because if new features have been added, the values currently stored where the new feature expects to look up its settings will not be properly preset. The default values thing takes care of that. Then you can go back and readjust things like boot order.
On My XP Home Mini 9 with 1 GB RAM, after the A03 BIOS update and the reset to BIOS defaults, I went into the display properties and selected the Intel "Information" tab. I have my screen set to 16 bit color. It showed this:
Physical Memory: 1014 MB
Minimum Graphics Memory: 8MB
Maximum Graphics Memory: 128 MB
Graphics Memory in Use: 7 MB
Maybe some incentive to move to 2 GB of RAM. :-)
