Default Upgrade LCD Size? - 06-09-2010, 10:44 AM

I'm modding my DM9 and wondering if it's possible to include a larger sized LCD... about 12". Would this be possible?
Thanks

As far as I know, it's never been done.

how would that work?, the bezel is only 9 inch, the whole unit is only around 9inch, the whole screen would stick out on all sides, I think it would look like crap....just my 0.02

Also, I don't think the chipset supports a larger resolution panel.

Hmm, as I understood it, I could just use monitor output from the board (I think it's 40 pin?) and apply it to another monitor which would accept the 40 pin - any reason why this wouldn't work?

I looked it up - the chipset can handle up to 1600x1200 resolution.
