Default Intel Z-P230 16GB PATA SSD Solid State Drive Mini PCI-E - 01-05-2009, 12:50 AM

I would like to know if this is a good upgrade and what is the difference between the runcore SSD drive
the price difference is almost 30$ between the drives the intel is around 40$ shipped

Absolute junk. The Intel drive is rated 40 read/10 write, the standard dell STEC drive is 72 read / 16 write, the RunCore is 70 read / 42 write..

That Intel drive is the one that Dell had considered putting in the Mini9 and was rumored might be in some units. I think Dell realized what a bad idea that would be and ended up not using any of them, now Intel is desperate to dump them at any price.
