Default Best wireless card replacement - 05-15-2010, 03:26 AM

Hi guys,

I triple boot my Mini9 with OSX, Win7, and Linux. Everything works perfect and I have not changed much in the past year, but I am using the Broadcom STA drivers in Linux and it is a known issue that the card will not work in "monitor mode". I have heard there might be a new broadcom linux driver with an updated kernel, etc. but not getting much details on that, so here is the question

Does anyone know of a good basic replacement wireless card that will work pretty easily with OSX, Linux, and Win7 and also go into "monitor" mode?

I replaced mine with an Intel 3945 a/b/g card. No drivers needed under linux, works great.

Sure - Linux and Windows are fine for the Intel cards, but not Mac OS.
