Default Volume up/down shortcut - 05-10-2010, 04:22 AM

Hi,
Is it possible to change the volume up/down control, from fn+5 and fn+6, to perhaps fn +pageup/page down? -Thanks.

I can't see how that would work... PU/PD are already a Fn chord on the Mini 9.

Hi, yes but they are badly placed. When you're watching a movie on a plane, in darkness, (for example), it's a pain to find and hit the right keys.

What app are you using to watch the movies? Some of them, VLC for example, have their own programmable hot keys that can do what you want.

I can change the volume with the FN F5 and F6 keys without even looking
I also in VLC, you can adjust the volume on the right side of the touchpad.
Just like scrolling up or down.

Hope this helps.
