Voici donc le Dell Mini transformé en enregistreur numérique portable.
ce projet Ã* été conçu afin de pouvoir retransmettre sur internet via WIFI, tout en enregistrant sur carte SDHC de 16Gb
en reprenant un peu le schéma de certain montages ici présentés, j'ai donc intégré une carte USB de capture vidéo de marque Typhoon.

Here is the Dell Mini, converted in digital VCR !
This project has been made to be able to record any vidéo source (S-VID or COMP) on one 16 Gb SDHC, at the same time that i am streaming the vidéo via WIFI to send it to a server on internet and also to a vidéo projector,
i used same way than other projects presented here by other users to take the 5V for supplying and the D+ and D- for usb signal on the free WWAN connector. And so, i integrated a Typhoon USB device for viéo capture






Pour cela il a donc fallu démonter le boitier, dessouder les connecteurs, le bouton et la LED afin de gagner en grosseur, pouvoir recouper le circuit et ensuite souder des câbles directement dessus.

For that i had to open it, de-solder the quick connectors, the snapshot button and the DEL to make the result thinest as possible, and to be able to solder directly on the board, the cables i need.


Ensuite j'ai du récupérer un connecteur S-Vid extendu sur une carte mère de d6000 et pour la loger dans le mini, j'ai découpé le petit renfort qui sert Ã* la fois de maintien pour la fiche d'alimentation et de fixation pour l'antivol.

Then i took an extended S-VID connector from a dead D6000 mother board to fit it in the mini.
for that i had to cut the little metal part that keeps in place the jack for the charger, and it serves also normaly to secure the mini with a locker in the little hole.


puis en suivant le principe déjÃ* utilisé de récupération de l'alimentation sous la carte WIFI et dus bus USB sur le connecteur mini pci-e pour alimenter la carte.

So using same method than others for collecting the 5V under the WIFI card and the USB data connection on the free mini PCIE.



puis après avoir câblé la fiche S-Vid Ã* la carte, re-routé les câbles des antennes WIFI (afin d'éviter trop de parasites) il ne reste plus qu'Ã* fermer le tout et le tour est joué, mieux que l'archos wifi car écran + grand et de plus je dispose de plus de choix niveau codecs !
il m'a fallut donc trouer Ã* coté de la fiche alim pour y disposer ma fiche S-vid, d'autre part il m'a fallu également couper une petite patte de plastique pour pouvoir glisser la carte sous la coque, puis également le séparateur en plastique près de la carte WIFI pour encastrer totalement la carte.
After having connected the S-VID connector to the capture card, routed the two WIFI antenas in another way (to avoid interferencies)
i just have to close it all again and that's it ! better tnat Archos wifi, because larger screen, more codecs available, video streaming in WIFI and BT for audio possible !
i had to make a hole just near the charger jack to place the extended S-VID, i also had to cut out a little plastic part from the left to be able to pass the device under the plastic, and also the separator that is in the middle and separates the WIFI and WWan cards to completely fit the capture card that i had to reduce a bit in long by cuting with a dremel (it is just a ground protection no connections in between that you risqu to cut iff you follow the same way i did.
