I just got vlited vista ultimate up, and I wanted to get a feel for people's configs. 1. How much RAM? 2. What version of vista? 3. Runcore or standard SSD 4. Do you readyboost? If yes what drive or card? 5. What is your Windows Experience Index? Also are there any other settings that you find useful? |

My own set up now is 1. 2GB 2. Vista Ultimate vLited 3. Standard 16GB 4. Not yet but I plan to from an SD card 5. 2.7 I disable secure desktop during UAC prompts, it makes it so the screen doesn't dim when a UAC prompt comes up. I find it makes UAC much more usable. It's a local security policy if you want to change it for yourself. |

I am running VIsta Business right now. Once I get my 64 gb hard drive I will be installuing Vista Ultimate. 1. 2gb 2. Business for now 3. Standard for now 4. No 5. 2.7 Dell Mini 10, XPS M1530, Inspiron 1308, Latitude X1, Latitude D420, Latitude D610, Latitude D620, Latitude D810, Latitude XT2 |
