Hey folks, I have a stock 16gb SSD and was thinking about upgrading it to something larger and faster. I was thinking about a 32gb or 64gb drive so I could dual boot OSX and Windows 7. Also a little bit more performance wouldn't go amiss. Can anyone recommend a drive and more importantly where to buy from? I'm in the UK. I tried searching the forum but the stupid search facility ignored the word UK because it's too short! ---------- Post added at 02:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:42 PM ---------- Also is there anything I can do with the 16gb once I've removed it? MyDigitalDiscount sells an external USB case that will turn the SSD into a USB drive. However, it costs as much as a 16GB USB thumb drive, so keep that in mind. Mini 9|2GB RAM|64GB RunCore|Intel 5300|Windows 8 |

Hi! I'm a newbie, first post in fact. I'm still waiting for my Dell Mini 9 to arrive, but I already ordered a 32GB Runcore from this chap for £109.99 and free delivery eBay My World - fedtic-us It arrived this morning along with 2GB of RAM from Crucial. Pretty good turnaround and a great price! Just waiting for the acutal netbook to turn up :-P |

It turned up yesterday afternoon. Fitted the 2GB and RunCore last night, installed Windows 7 and was amazed at just how quick it works! It even uses the Aero Desktop which I thought would be disabled! So fast.....gobsmacked! |
