Windows 7 update notified me of 3 updates for me a little while ago, an intel chipset, realtek and my dell wireless N card. Naturally I installed all 3 but was having major problems, the CPU was constantly clocked at 100%, even when I was doing anything. I'm putting it down to the chipset, I've had to do a system restore to get everything back. After the weekend I may tinker with the update again, but I'm not full of confidence. |
