hi guys, I went through and read the 50 plus pages in this forum, to find as many details as possible on internal mods to the mini 9. the following list has links to the posts. thanks rock99, I added your "under the MOB" location, too. I wondered about using that spot, but the battery seemed to be in the way. you just moved it down a bit, right? that might be a good place to sneak a naked flash drive, if you were able to fit the TS/controller board in there. looks like you had the thing dangling and apart as I did.... thought i would never get all those wires back in the case |

thanks, grassle. least I could do to give back to the forum say rock99... you know how it is with mods... i could be back in the case again when I find something else to put in there. I must have opened my eeePC 6 times before I was done. I did get pretty good at it, though  |

For what it is worth.. Here is a way to modify the BT MOBO connector to carry both +3V and +5V. It is a permanent mod to MOBO but the BT connector will be backward compatible and very flexible for future solderless +3V and +5V upgrades. Webcam running on +3V or +5V? New tap for +5V.. |
