I was sooo excited when I saw this because this is something I have been working on and off for ~8 mos. or so. When the iPad was unveiled I was bummed that it wasn't more courier like.

I thought this was my answer but it isn't quite there. It's masterful don't get me wrong, but the touchscreen issues he's having on the left screen are not going to bear much fruit.

To answer a BIGG question everyone had ... "what USB LCD touch screen is the extra one on the left". At least NATIVELY it isn't a touch screen. It's a new monitor made by DoubleSight. Doublesight.com

I hope that explains why the touch sensitivity issues he was experiencing didn't pan out. I think both screens can be made to be touch screens however (if you apply a touch screen usb film). Has anyone done that?

But I hope that helped (everyone inc. Pak) ... I had been searching for the better part of a day to find that new monitor. Now i'm excited to be thinking of doing this (except with 2 touch screens - if I can get some feedback on quality).

Insane the web media picked this thing up and went gonzo with it ... goes to show always corroborate your sources.

This is so what I want to do with my Dell Mini 9. Can you provide a DIY guide?

I looks like DoubleSight will release a 9" USB touch screen monitor in August.
