So I have OSX installed now on my other Mini / RunCore, when I close the lid it doesn't sleep though (light never pulses, just stays active) i open back up and its as if it never went to sleep. How do I get it to sleep when lid closes so I can test this out?

You can try and hit sleep in the menubar. sometimes it wont go to sleep when you close the lid. then hit the power button to wake it up

Yeah, Type11 apparently still hasn't fixed that problem in his install. Probably a good thing for the guys running STEC drives. But if the RunCore wakes up properly, there's going to be a lot of people wanting it to sleep automatically when they close the lid. I fixed my Type11 install by swapping out some kexts, so it's not too hard to do.

Ok, sorry to say guys, but after the computer goes to sleep, I hit the power button, it wakes up and then nothing (its frozen). Sleep = 1, RunCore = 0

Nothing? The screen should light up and you should see the desktop, even with a drive that's stuck like the STEC.. Give the unit a minute after that for everything to initialize, then try firing up an app. If you get a permanent beachball icon, that would indicate the drive is not awake.

The desktop comes back up immediately, No beachball or anything, and no mouse pointer. I can move over the trackpad but the mouse doesnt show up, and no keys on the keyboard respond.

Drat. Well thanks for trying. At least we'll have large capacity and speed, even if we do have to give up sleep.

GOOD NEWS!

My Wife's Dell Mini is still on the A00 BIOS, while my Mini is on A02. I took the OSX RunCore drive out of my Wife's Mini and put it in mine... Sleep is working on the A02 BIOS. w00t w00t!

Sweet! I was just about to post and tell you, you might try turning off USB Legacy Support and Wake on USB in your BIOS. Those interfere with Type11's sleep feature..
This is awesome, the RunCore is the ULTIMATE drive now..
Wanna run XBench on it? It's freeware. It'll take you to a result browser on the net afterwards, paste that URL here..

One thing.. when it comes out of sleep the mouse will kinda go nuts like if you try to move it or click on something the mouse is all over the place... but it you hit tab on the keyboard immediately everything is back to normal. So I tested putting to sleep, waking up, and the first thing I did was hit tab, and all was good. It wakes up in a matter of 1 second, super fast.
