| Junior Member Posts: 26 Join Date: Mar 2009 | Im pretty sure its a fairly Generic power socket, but how are you going to get it off the board? You may need to un-solder it and solder in the new one (LOTS OF WORK) and If you screw something up you may lose part of your board :| |

Good thinking on Dell's part! I've replaced several charge ports on laptops, I get them off Ebay at a fraction of buying them at any online site, let alone from the manufacturer. |
