Hello,

I have my MINI9 ordered (yay!) and the first thing I intend to do is upgrade RAM. It seems to vary slightly in price, and then there are a bunch of numbers that I don't understand.

From what I have gathered from this forum, I need a minimum speed of PC-4200. Well, CanadaComputers (the best retailer around here for parts) only has PC-5300 in 2 gig sticks. Will that improve things? Will any of the more expensive products boost speed? Here is a link to Canada computers @ laptop memory:

Also, for SDHC drives - I want to get something 16gb that's relatively fast. I'm going to run World of Warcraft off of it (or at least try) as well as other applications and DivX movies. Is there anything specific I should be looking for aside from "Class 6"?

The Front Side Bus on the Mini 9 is 533MHz, so anything over PC2-4200 is going to be downclocked to 533MHz.

For RAM, I bought the Crucial CT885015 2GB, 200-pin SODIMM. Looks like $30.99. I just like there auto-selection wizard.

For SDHC, I'd suggest a SanDisk Ultra II SDHC card like this:

There's no harm getting ram that is rated for a much higher speed than you will be running it at. In fact, there's a small potential for battery savings, because the faster ram tends to be made on a smaller process (45 vs 65 nanometer). So the faster ram will run cooler, and which means it's not wasting power in the form of heat.
