MSI did it for the Wind,which is why im posting this idea.
If you have 2 gigs of RAM,it isnt much of a problem,and well,a 2 gig RAM stick costs under $30 on NewEgg
so the people wanting Dell to make a BIOS update that uses LESS video memory,should consider doing a RAM upgrade.
But jbloodwo,we all get your point,you are using the mini for what it is designed for,doing basic tasks and you want to have as much RAM as possible,by taking away video memory.
However,some of us,like me for example,are pushing the limits of what it was designed for,by putting some older games and slightly intensive programs on it. So having some video memory increase might help us out a little on pushing the Mini just a little bit further.
and since when does having 32 more megs of memory matter in this day and age anyway?
