I didn't get her name but she is at 1.800.357.3355 x 724-4161. I just gave her the part numbers and told her I had a friend who gave it to me that had a Mini 9 so I knew it would work. Good luck.

I ordered one yesterday. Should be in this week. Wasn't asked 300 questions. It was pretty easy to order: U061H, Keyboard,66,US-INTL,Single Pointing,Qiao Hong,Windows. Funny how it specifies "Windows." I haven't seen a Linux version mentioned anywhere. Has anyone heard of one?

I believe that's a reference to the Windows-Key on the keyboard itself.

As such, no - I haven't seen a Linux-Key on any keyboard from a major manufacturer.

Along with my new Bluetoooth, I added the US Intl keyboard to my Mini last night. It was not all that bad especially since I had to remove the old keyboard to install the Bluetooth anyway (which was a lot more involved). I reset the Keyboard as instructed here and it works great. After playing with this a bit I would say this is a must have mod in my opinion. I can easily find all the keys I want/need at (or at least pretty near) their "normal" places. Thanks for everyone contributing to the details on this.

Just ordered my US-Intl keyboard from this guy:

yaphet_merrit@dell.com
800-357-3355 x7419601

He was easy to work with, should have it in a few days.

Another satisified ssaito customer. Have OSX installed on mine and the new keys did not work at first, but I saw the whole AC/Fn-combo-etc procedure. I just held FN+K while turning it on and it worked fine. Well, the \| key next to space still doesn't work, and I don't think AltGr does either. But [{ ]} worked after and those are the important ones that did not work right away.

Thanks for to everyone out there for finding the new keyboard and making it available, and the secrets like Fn-K that make it work!

Sorry for sounding like I didn't read through this thread. I tried but it's 4 in the AM. Am I missing something or are you guys just trying to get the US keyboard? I hate the fact that the ' (apostrophe) key is in the wrong place, but I don't want an AltGR key on my keyboard. So basically if I already have the regular US keyboard...am I missing out? I'm normally a fast typist, but with this keyboard it slowed down considerably.

Thanks

Look at the post from the beginning. There is the US keyboard that ships with the Mini 9 in the US and a "US Int'l" on that can be ordered separately. The Int'l version has better placement of some of the keys.
