Default Touch screen problem. Help please! - 09-27-2009, 08:08 PM

Hey all,

I recently installed the solderless touchscreen kit onto my mini, and initially it worked perfectly, but after I reset it, my cursor keeps darting to the bottom left corner next to the Start button and the touchscreen appears unresponsive.

I tried uninstalling the drivers and it still did this. I also just installed the new drivers that someone posted yesterday but it still didn't solve the problem.

I thought maybe it was my mouse so I unplugged it, but even with the touch pad I seem to have this problem.

Does anyone have any idea what could have happened here? cuz I'm stumped.

PS: Sorry if this problem's been posted before but I couldn't find it in the forums.

Did you try calibrating it? Mine did something like that when I first installed my touchscreen but after I calibrated it, it was fine.
If it still does it, you may try taking the front bezel off and trying it without it. It could be pushing against the corner there and causing it to activate.

had the same issue once. That corner of your bezel is pressing against the screen probably.
