Do you know if there are OSX drivers for it? I've love to see how it works in OSX.

OS X? What's that? ;-)
Yeah, they have them. The drivers are here, http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eg/drivers.htm

Sweet, you should install OSX on there and try that out then. Or I could send you my old 8gb SSD that already has OSX preinstalled on it.. heh, I've got nothing better to do with that old drive..

Yes, I have an entire installation writeup coming. I'm not real happy with it right now, but I'll clean it up and post it sometime over the long Thanksgiving break here in the states.
I also think that I may redo the connection to take advantage of the PCI-e connection, as per the GPS hack. I think I can do it fairly quickly and I will add that to the installation doc.

I still have other vids up at http://www.youtube.com/deldotb

OK guys, good news. I used the directions from the "GPS" hack and managed to finally get the D+ and D- USB leads soldered onto the PCI-e pins #36 and #38... and I got my third USB port back! And it could be my imagination, but the touchscreen seems to be a bit more responsive now, too.

The only thing is I need to figure out how to configure Linux/X11 to pick up the device automatically upon boot. Still having to run a command from the terminal. I'll probably just make a shell script to do it and the user can decide when to run it.

One bad thing is that it looks like the battery life may be somewhat affected... by about 10-15% less. Maybe I'll put a small switch on the bottom to kill power to it unless needed.
I have a very, very preliminary installation instructions written up, but I want to add this new info to it. I'll post it within the next day or two for sure.

I am also considering selling it after I get the bugs worked out. If anyone might be interested, let me know. Also, what do you think about me making a single kit with all the parts and instructions to do it yourselves?

Selling the instructions/how-to guide... Eh.. Good luck.. Don't be surprised if someone else comes out with a how-to later on, and publishes it freely, like the guide that you followed for the internal USB hookup.. Might kill your sales. So don't go investing too heavily in that.
