I installed an Intel WiFi Link 5300 N card and an additional antenna tonight...

I used an Intel 5300 Wifi Link Card and a Tyco WLAN Antenna.

How does it work? Do you get true 300MB connectivity?

Hey Scott,
I haven't tested anything yet. Put it in last night and passed out. At work today though I'm picking up 4 new networks when I only has 2 in my office before.

So, the driver loaded OK with no issues in Windows XP? I will be putting one of these in my Mini9 next week after a difficult time getting the 4965AGN card to install.

Edit: I see you are not running WinXP.

I'm not using Windows XP, I'm on Ubuntu 8.10. I would imagine it would load fine on XP with the correct Intel drivers, etc.

If your mini has a camera then it is in that spot. otherwise it would work.
