I have two mini 9s one with a 0.3MP cam one with a 1.3MP cam, would ideally like to swap cams (to have the 1.3MP cam in the mini with the WWAN slot/card).

Can it be done without soldering? (I am up for opening up the minis but can't use a soldering iron...)

If so, does anyone have any advice / tips / links to pics or diagrams or manuals that would help?

the cameras both have the same connector in the same place. Simply remove the bezel, unplug and unstick the camera, and swap them. Good to go.
