I noticed yesterday while using A/C power to play a high quality video, it plays smoother than when it runs solely off battery power.. Is this normal?

Prior to A05, regardless of A/C or Battery, the same vid would drop frames and sound would lag behind.

If I remember Correctly, I think A05 added an update to the video RAM, allowing more RAM to be used for video, Which would make the video perform better. Video usually does better on A/C power. It takes a lot for the battery to run full on driving everything, and playing video & sound. This is true for most laptops that they do better with video on A/C Power.

More to the point, the CPU will tend to run at full speed more of the time on AC than on battery.
