Default Using bluetooth for external audio bypasses Realtek Sound Manager - 06-21-2009, 04:37 AM

When I play audio on an external stereo via my USB bluetooth device the Realtek Audio Manager is bypassed, that is, the Realtek equalizer and other controls don't work. I would like to be able to use the audio manager while using bluetooth. Is there any way to do this? If I were using an internal Dell bluetooth device instead of the USB device would it still bypass Realtek? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Doubtful the internal Dell unit would make any difference as it's also a usb unit. I also doubt there is a way to use the Realtek manager as you're not using the on board audio but the Bluetooth stack for audio output.
