The bottle neck is Comcrapstic anyway. 11mbps should be plenty to fill Comcast cable.
I'll keep an eye out for a router deal on black friday.
What kind of wifi speed are you getting on the mini, can you post your speedtest?

speedtest.net's Flash UI is bulky and leads to abnormally low results when run on the Mini
I prefer Speakeasy's Speed Test, which uses a simpler Flash applet and produces much more accurate results (on the Mini anyway):
Download Speed: 27575 kbps (3446.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 5215 kbps (651.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Much closer to the 30/5 mbps my connection is rated for. My Mini was connected at 144mbps to the local network w/ 802.11n.

I've got two minis at the moment. An original with an LCD defect and the replacement (with a seperate less annoying LCD defect!). One thing I noticed with the original mini was weak signal strength compared to my 1525. I put it down to design but I notice with this replacement unit that it matches the 1525 in signal strength everywhere in my house. When I place the first mini side-by-side with the other two laptops it seems to be performing at about 60% and both mini's are set up identically.

well, I got one of these from newegg and hooked it up last night.

WAN seems to be working ok, the speed is much better than the old wireless B router.
But the Mini wifi still is not working as well as my older Toshiba. The ping is laggy sometime - usually 3-4 ms, but some time 18,19ms. But at least now I can watch youtube without having to pause.
I sent a 100MB file to a desktop and it's pretty quick, but when copying back to Mini it's slower - maybe the SSD?
Anyway, will experiment more this weekend.
I still think the broadcom wifi card is a problem. Or maybe some setting...
