What does your BIOS menu say about the SSD
? If the SSD
doesn't show up normally in the BIOS, the SSD
may not work in any kind of adapter. If the SSD
is fried, data recovery will be very difficult/expensive.
If the SSD
is fine and the problem lays in your Mini itself, an adapter could work, but I have no experience with them and a Google search for "mini pcie to usb" shows they're pretty rare.
You could try installing the SSD
in another Mini. Or inplace of a mini PCIe wireless card on a regular laptop, but I'm not sure if that'd work.
