Default Slow file copying after download in IE7 - 01-28-2009, 12:33 AM

This only happens with my Mini, and not with my larger laptop.
After downloading a file off the internet the laptop copies ("copying" window) from a temp area to the folder of choice chosen before download starts.
The download timeframe is fine but the "copying" process takes forever.... like many minutes. Since this is just a copy between 2 folders on the same drive it should be almost instant.
I have never had this issue on any computer before and I have plenty of HD space. Is this a characteristic of the Mini's SSD drive?

Yes, the stock ssd on the mini has a low write speed. It has excellent read speeds, at least. That is why everyone likes the Runcore drives. Their read is slow, but with the higher write speed, get a nice performance gain.
