Well that is some success, you got it to see your USB CD drive. I would take a quick looks at your SSD
& RAM to be sure both are fully seated. I think your SSD
is but maybe the RAM has been moved. I would not pull out the SSD
& re seat it, possibly the RAM. A good visual check should be OK. I would then create a Ubuntu bootable USB stick & try it. Desktop | Ubuntu
This link is for downloading & it has good instructions on how to make a bootable UDB stick or if you prefer, a CD. Try it & see if your Mini 9 works OK, installing on your SSD
is not required to run Ubuntu on you computer.
