Default New SSD no Bios - 05-08-2012, 09:55 PM

I have a Mini9 Bios version A07. I bought a new SSD from Newegg just to upgrade from a 8GB to 30GB. Item#: N82E16820227749

OCZ Strata Series STR-MSATA-30G mSATA 30GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

When I installed the new drive I do not get a Bios screen. The power light comes on for a few seconds and nothing. Now before you say it is a dead drive I installed it on my PC with a SSD slot (Gigabyte MB Z68xp-ud3) and was able to partition / format and copy files to and from. The only thing I did not test is if my PC will boot from it. The old drive still works and tested in my PC as well. Any Ideas?

SATA does not work on the Mini 9, it only uses a unique PATA SSD. Before buying one insure that it says that it is for a Mini 9.
