Default Bios does not see SSD OCZ MSAT - 02-01-2012, 11:13 AM

Hello everyone,
excuse my English, non-native speakers.
I have a problem with my Dell mini9 I bought a 30gb SSD from OCZ called the Msata Nocti Series 30gb,
The problem is that the bios (updated yesterday from Dell) does not see him!, it is as if there was no disc insert.
someone can tell me why?

You bought an SSD that is not compatible with the Mini9. Yours is mSATA. While it fits in the socket, the Mini 9 wants a PATA SSD, which is non-standard for this card type. The rule here is that if the manufacturer does not specifically say that the SSD is compatible with the Dell Mini 9, it is not compatible.
