Greetings everyone -- I'm happy to see that so many people still use the Mini 9. GREAT little machine.

Long story short -- I somehow ended up with spyware and in removing it was no longer able to use my touchpad or a keyboard to log into windows. Fortunately I keep all of my important stuff on the SD card so I don't mind reinstalling XP.

When attempting to reinstall XP from the disc provided with the laptop, I continually get a Blue Screen of Death. I read on other forums that laptops need to configured for IDE/Compatibility.

I did not see a way to change this in the BIOS of the Mini 9. Am I missing something?

There is no setting for that nor is it needed. What is the message in the BSOD?
