Forgive this dumb question, but I've got a conundrum. I registered my Dell netbook with my dell account for ease of driver access with XP. I downloaded the drivers, and it went as planned. But it just came to my attention that the outside is branded "mini" the Dell "my account" shows an Inspiron 910, so same. But the BIOS DELL screen shows Vostro A90, so does "About this Macintosh." Is this just a flashed BIOS with a Vostro one, or has this been frankensteined with a different motherboard? Everything works, just a curiosity. Black Dell Mini 9. 2GB G Skill RAM, 32GB Runcore, Dell 1510 "Airport Extreme", US Intl keyboard, 2.0 MP webcam, OS X 10.6.7,Bluetooth, sleep, ALC 268 fix and a proper Apple logo. |

It's just a different BIOS. The 910 and A90 are identical hardware, just different cosmetics and different BIOS (again, only cosmetic in what it looks like.) Someone loaded an A90 BIOS on your Mini, that's all. If it bothers you it's easy to reload the "correct" one. Mini 9|2GB RAM|64GB RunCore|Intel 5300|Windows 8 |
