Hello,
I bought me nearly one year ago the 64GB RunCore Pro IV Light 50mm PCI-e
SSD (PN: RCP-IV-M5064-C) and get sporadic freezes.
My System-Configuration:
-
SSD-Firmware: Version 1916
- Dell Mini 9 Bios: A06
- OS: Windows 7 Professional SP1
At the Runcore-Homepage I see that they recommend FW-Version 2030.
By searching the web I read in an other forum, that this version seems to eliminate sporadic freezes which I notice quite often. Also sometimes my Mini doesn't find the OS after the DELL Boot-Logo shows up, what seems to be the same problem which I'd like to get rid off!
My Problem:
Which executable I have to use to update my
SSD-Firmware included in the V2030 update-ZIP provided by Runcore?
-> PATA-8pcs: P0164.exe, P0464.exe, PA0264.exe, PA1964.exe
-> PATA-16pcs: P0264.exe, P0564.exe, P1964.exe
In the PDF-manual for Version 1916 is only written:
"For the naked
SSD that have no structure, such as RCP-IV-S50XX-C, RCP-IV-S70XX-C, RCP-IV-P50XX-C, RCP-IV-M50XX-C, you can see the Flash type directly."
On the PCB I can see 4 chips with the Micron Logo Type 29F128G08CJAAA
Further Info: The ZIP-Archive from Runcore includes only the Samsung Brand in it's name.
Any Ideas how to get Firmware 2030 on this
SSD?
Regards, Tap
