Default Imminent drive failure - 10-13-2010, 09:05 AM

I bought a 128GB Super Talent drive back in December of last year. In September when getting ready for my falsity Foot ball draft I had the system shut down on me. No I get the following message on boot up:
Error Smart Failure predicted on hard disk 0 FBM128gfdl –(PM)
WARRING: Immediately back up your data and replace your hard disk. A failure may be imminent.
Press F1 to continue
I press F1 and it just sits there with a blink cursor like it’s in a dos prompt.
Beyond stating the obvious, I want to make sure this is a drive failure and not a system issue. I can get in to the system settings for boot up and that kind of stuff so I pretty sure it’s the drive. So I am searching for anyone who has had a similar problem. As I am hoping I don’t have to replace my $300 drive.
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
Also It probably to late to return it to the store I bought it from but has anyone dealt with Super Talent warranty? It says 2 years so I should be good but anyone have experience with them?
Thanx in advance.
