first of all if its a Mini 9 there is no hard drive, it has an SSD (solid state drive), which can be replaced, you should check the Mini 9 forum on the board here, there are many postings on SSD's and things that you might be able to try before you spend any money, they vary in price depending on the size that you want, the larger ones tend to get very pricey, if you use it for just the basics an 8gb or 16gb should be fine, you can also check the For Sale section on the forum and possibly pick one up from someone who just upgraded theirs to a larger one.....Good Luck

PS. Welcome to the forum..

0GB reported for SSD size in the BIOS is a bad sign. The SSD may be dead.

A new 16GB Mini 9 SSD can be had for $50-ish in the US.
