Default Maxed out writes to 16G stec SSD? - 06-28-2010, 11:52 PM

Currently my Mini9 wont boot into windows. The unit hardlocks while trying to boot. I am able to boot to a Ubuntu Live image via thumbdrive and I was able to read the data on the drive. But I cant write anything to it. I backed my data up off the drive and tried to delete partition and create and it wont accept the changes. Did I Max out the writes on this SSD drive? It's funny I can read the data just fine but just cant write anything to it.

I have reloaded this system a number of times since I first got it. I have also used this laptop heavily transfering files to and from the SSD.

I believe that the controller has failed. This symptom has been seen by others. Replacing the SSD is the only option.

Thats what I was figuring. Looks like it's time to upgrade to a 64g Runcore. Thanks for the help.
