I'm trying to install a Toshiba 16gb SSD (Part # THNSA16G1P4L) in my Mini 9 Netbook. When I Boot the Computer, with the card installed, the SSD is not recognized by the computer. I enter Setup, and and the it shows NO HD installed. I'm currently running BIOS A04. I spoke with the people from Dell, and they said the SSD is compatible with the Mini 9, I asked if there needed to be an updated BIOS, and they wanted me to pay $$$ for that answer.

I purchased the SSD off of ebay, and can only ASS-u-me that it is good.

I'd appreciate any help I could to help me with this issue.

That SSD appears to be a "Mini PCIe" SSD with a SATA interface. The Mini 9 can only use a "Mini PCIe" SSD with PATA/IDE interface.

If I'm right about it being SATA, it'll never work in a Dell Mini 9.
