Just upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and sporadically on boot the mouse cursor is invisible. It IS there but invisible. I can keep rebooting and eventually get it to appear but not always. One time it wasn't invisible but instead was a large block about 2inches by 2inches.

I've seen this happen one other time on a Windows 7 computer and it was the HP mini netbook.

Anyone seen this before/know how to fix it? Google search didn't yield much.

sounds like it might be graphics card/driver issue..make sure you have the right drivers loaded..

This is a common problem - I did not have it the first few times I installed Windows 7, but then it appeared on a later install. The general solution seems to be to enable "mouse trails" in the Mouse properties.

Installed the latest Synaptics touchpad driver and rebooted a few times with no invisible mouse problem. We'll see if it lasts...

I had a similar problem on a fresh W7 install. I think it was the Dell mouse drivers that caused it (although I did install all drivers and programs in one hit). Anyway, after touchpad drivers installed, I got my mouse pointer back - so you should be right.
