After reading those posts regarding mini 9's SSD upgrade problem, it's finally my turn. Buffalo 32GB SSD which has only been the upgrade of 16GB STEC inside my mini 9 for about 6 months finally also was making trouble.

First I thought it was the OS which had become too corrupted or something... Its performance was getting slower and slower. I tried to reinstall the XP OS from scratch but no improvement. Then the thought of degrading performance of SSD came to my mind.

I decided to replace back the STEC SSD and also reinstall XP OS... VoilÃ*!!! I got the performance back.

So.... Upgrading SSD with Buffalo? Not recommended! But then, it makes me doubt of upgrading to other brands also since there are many reports of SSD upgrade problems here in this forum.
