Default Wi-fi problem - 01-12-2010, 10:56 PM

I last logged onto the internet on 4/4/10, no problem. Today, the Wi-fi indicator is spinning in circles and can't find the internet connection. Running original Ubuntu.
Any suggestions as to checking to see whats wrong? Re-enter password? I've tried
re-booting several times. Nothing. Have not updated any software.

I used to have that problem under Dellbuntu too. Sometimes deleting my home network as the default wireless connection and adding it back as a new connection would fix the problem, but other times it would still refuse to connect. I never did figure out what was causing the problem, but upgrading to 9.04 seems to have fixed it.

thanks. That worked. I deleted the schools wireless info, and then re-entered it again. It worked.
