Default External monitor on Dell mini 9 - 01-05-2010, 07:32 PM

Hi, I am not able to see a picture on an external monitor.

Connecting SVGA out to TV red, white and blue RCA socket.

No picture comes on ext TV.

Please tell me what I need to do to fix it

Thanks, Simon

I don't think you can go from VGA to RGB. Red and white are typically audio left and right, and the blue, to me, would be in with an HD RGB video connection.
Otherwise, you might have to set the video settings to output to an external monitor, or set your TV for input from that source.
Does your TV have a VGA/PC input?

You won't. Those adapters require that the VGA connector have composite video on one of the pins. Some laptops have this, the Minis do not.
