Default Win7 upgrade successful, but one small problem - 12-26-2009, 10:03 PM

I upgraded my Mini 9 to Windows7 Home Premium yesterday, but...

When it boots, I have to pick Windows 7 or Windows Setup as the boot OS. I guess this is a consequence of using an external CD/DVD drive to load the software. In any case, how do I get rid of this and have the system just boot Windows 7 without asking me to choose?

By the way, Windows 7 runs great on the Mini 9. Seems snappier than XP svc pack 3.

in Win7 there is no boot.ini file, you can edit the boot entrys either with bcedit.exe or with this really easy utility called is the link

Thanks for the tip.

I finally got a chance to download and run the software yesterday. Very simple and painless.
