Default manually disabled the hard drive in bios - 12-09-2009, 04:01 PM

hi all

just got a mini 9 and was in the bios trying to figure out how to boot from usb 1st to do a clean install of XP on the machine.

however, i manually disabled the hard drive and now it comes up operating system not found and i cant seem to get into the bios again to undo it? is there anything i can do? ive tried pressing 2 and 0 at the prompts but cant get into bios screen. please help

Hit 2 or 0 a bunch of times.

How did you disable the SSD? I have been trying to do this, but have not been able to do this.

What you should have done was press 0 at the initial screen to bring up the boot selection menu. 2 should bring you into the BIOS setup - try holding it down. I remember that when I disabled the Dell splash screen that the boot went so fast it was hard to get the 2 recognized. I did eventually manage it.
