Default is my ssd dead??? - 09-29-2009, 11:09 PM

hi i have a dell mini 9 i bought used it was working fine but while i was useing it it shut off now when powered on all i get is a blinking cursor in the top left corner when i try to reinstall xp it says it cannot format the partition it has two patitions one is 39ish mb the other is over 7000mb but neither will format or install any help would be great

Very likely dead - I've been reading a lot of stories like yours lately. The blinking cursor means no bootable partition. That you can't format the partitions means that the SSD is no longer properly responding to commands.
