Unhappy Battery Locks - 11-27-2008, 01:27 AM

Flip the mini over with the back up and the battery facing away from you. There are two battery locks, one on the left and one on the right. The one on the left seems to click open then automatically click shut when reinserting the battery. The one on the right seems to hang up. Is anyone else having this issue? It's not like I will be taking out the battery often, but I was just curious and can live with it.

Note, the one on the left that works seems to have a little white grease residue on it and the one sticking doesn’t. Does anyone know what that grease is? type? etc?

Its just the way it works. The left one has a spring in it. The right one doesn't. The spring keeps the battery from falling out. Not having a spring on the right means you can take the battery out with one hand.
