Well, first off...this is a Windows machine, right? Not Ubuntu? I am assuming due to the 3 discs (as Ubuntu machines come with 2 that I know of).
Anyway, so...you load the first disc...turn on the machine..."press any key", yada yada through the agreement and come to the partitions. At this point, I usually delete EVERYTHING. Once deleted, choose that one and only partition to install onto, and choose NTFS (I usually just do a quick one). It will ask you a few questions along the way, just answer them and once finished you should have a working windows. Once you do, it may not look right and you cant connect to the internet, etc....thats because you need the disc that says "drivers". load it, follwo the instructions, and when finished you should have audio, video, wireless, lan, etc. The third disc is probably just Microsoft Works, an editor like Word. Load it up too.
So, where did you go wrong? Follow my instructions and let us know what happens.
