| Dell is NOT the only company using the LPIA kernel (it is meant for the Atom, not specifically the Mini 9), I can't understand why that's difficult to believe. The 1GB limitation for configuring these computers is solely due to Microsoft. Other folks seem to understand that, I'm not sure what's confusing about that.

| I just got my mini (2nd shipment in australia) I want to get 2gb stick, but just wondering as the manual says that the possible configurations for the RAM slot is 512MB & 1GB. If i get 2gb will the BIOS & Windows pick up the 2gb? |

| One of my customers came in with his new Mini 9 last night to buy 2GB of RAM to put in it. I was pleased to install it for him and give him a tour of the internals while the hatch was open. He was happy with XP running with 512mb, he's REALLY REALLY happy now!

The A Data with 4GB usb flash drive seems like a good deal, but I have 2 8GB microSD cards already, a 500GB external and a 160GB external. So I don't think storage would be an issue. |
