Alrightly here is somthing for you all to see. Below I added pictures a my invoice about the bluetooth issue. As you can see in the pictures I did order it from dell. I do live in the states and it was 19.99. As I stated before if you call up sales and they do not help you ask them to switch to a different sale agent because dell sale agents are dumb trust me I know.

are the antennas built into the chassis of the computer even if you did not get bluetooth or are there no antennas at all?

Bluetooth antennas are typically built onto the expansion card itself. At least that's how it's been with every other Dell I've added Bluetooth to.

That is correct. The BCM2046 device has its own antenna. The place inside your laptop where it installs Dell did not put RF shielding so the signal can get out.

I'm real curious how much the motherboard with WWAN is.

If anyone chats or speaks to a sales rep, please post here how much it is.

I don't see a seperate part for that.

I'd love to replace the awful silver bezels with the black from the Vostro A90, any chance they'll
ever be available for purchase in the US?

Thanks again
Amen on that brother! Just get the part number for the non-glossy screen and I'm in hog heaven

This is crazy! By the time y'all have replaced everything you don't like, you could have just as easily picked up an HP tablet or a higher-end netbook...

When i ordered the bluetooth i did indeed ask for the price of the mobo with the WAN slot. The price is like $420. I laughted at it.

Very often modification is about the journey AS WELL AS the destination.
One often ends up with a very unique thing that does for the modder a task not possible before.

One sometimes ends up with a broken thing and a hard lesson learned, but such is the game.

Keep your toys how YOU like them, but I wouldn't stand in the way of anyone with tools and a hot iron close at hand.
