| I nLited XP Pro and everything installs fine. I am not able to install the Integrated Webcam drivers though. I initially used setup.exe to install and it just failed with a "there is an error installing" error message. I rebooted and I don't see the "Integrated Camera" anywhere in the device manager. When I try to use it in Yahoo messenger, it says no Webcam found. I then went to "Add Hardware" and I see the Integrated Camera there with the Yellow question mark(and a !). When I try to install it from there and choose the driver location, I get "The required section was not found in the inf" error message. What gives? What am I missing here? I followed all instructions from this thread. The webcam worked fine with Ubuntu. TIA.

| Not sure if anybody noticed, but the JMicron driver has been updated. The directory location has also changed to include Win7 in the directory name. ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb38x/X...00.29_WHQL.zip From the release notes: R1.00.29_WHQL (2009/05/21) - Pass Windows 7 WHQL test

| I have several issues with my XP pro install, does anyone have a clue on what went wrong? - The installer doesn't detect it as an ACPI capable pc, so it is installed as a "Standard PC". I have no power management enabled due to this. - JMicron driver installed fine, but no drive for SD card reader. There are three devices under "unknown" group in device manager. - Wifi driver didn't find the hardware, so didn't install, but I was able to update driver, point to the installation files and wifi now works, but not sure if this misses installing some files. - Wireless enabler doesn't start, I get an error for missing EMSC.dll file. - While installing bluetooth driver, pressing Fn+F2 does nothing, probably because the wireless enabler didn't run, and so can't install bluetooth driver. I don't see any device, so can't install manually either. There are probably other unconfirmed issues, but the above are the main issues for me right now. Any help is appreciated. Update: I didn't use any of the modified drivers that were pointed to in the OP, and not sure if they are really required, but pretty sure none of them would fix the acpi problem anyway. | Quote: I'm busy making an nLited install of XP with all of the relevant drivers already preset into the file but I need to know exactly which drivers/variants/files are used for the Mini 9 installation as you can't just pick folders etc.. at random. Thanks |

| I did a clean install of Xp. Having some problems with what drivers I should get. 1) What does this driver do "Wireless Select Switch"? 2) Is "Broadcom Arcadyne Wireless LAN" the same (function-wise) as "Broadcom Wireless Driver, version 5.10.79.14"? and what are they for? 3) What is this driver for "Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Mini-Card"? 4) Do I need both the Realtek LAN driver and the Broadcom driver? 5) Is there any benefit from installing "Hitachi microdrive filter driver"?
