Hi, tried this on my mini 9 and installed ok. had to do manual install and browse to folder. dated 21/07/2009 in device manager. version 6.5853.77.14

filename says windows 7 but i think it is driver for xp/vista too.

one thing that happened after installation was the image in skype and msn was upside down !

the fix is to edit the INF file (SNP2UVC.INF)

what I did was search for the word 'flip' in notepad
there are 4 instances in the file: (these are original settings)

HKR,DefaultSettings,Flip,0x00010001,1
HKR,Settings,Flip,0x00010001,1
HKR,DefaultSettings,Flip,0x00010001,0
HKR,Settings,Flip,0x00010001,0

I inverted the last numbers after the comma in all 4 (1 to 0 and 0 to 1)

so should be:

HKR,DefaultSettings,Flip,0x00010001,0
HKR,Settings,Flip,0x00010001,0
HKR,DefaultSettings,Flip,0x00010001,1
HKR,Settings,Flip,0x00010001,1

and save file.

update driver in device manager, browse to the folder, select your saved INF and should update.

Saw some newer versions for the mini wi-fi :

Broadcom Wireless BCM43xx Driver v.5.100.9.141 for all windows versions.

Please someone help me!!

I installed Windows 7 Tiny on my Mini9, everything works fine, installed 5530 modem drivers A07 and then Sony Wireless Manager latest version.
When i open Wireless Manager it doesn't detect the modem: "No Mobile Broadband Modem"

Also tried with drivers A13, A01, A14... none seems to solve... but the thing is that windows shows modem as OK.. It's Sony Manager that doesn't detect.. Also tried older versions of this software..

Someone please??

Hi, im having a problem with the wifi on my mini 9. Ive done a full re-format of my machine with the windows xp disc i received with it, ive installed all the drivers that need installing but when i goto device manager there is no option for installing the wifi? i know it uses broadcom wifi but its just not showing up in device manager, please help
