Here's Dell's page to download drivers for the Mini 10v. I am not aware of another thread with a compiled list of drivers that are not from Dell (like the 2nd list in my OP).

I'm not sure if I'm not doing something or I'm doing somethig wrong but I cannot get wireless connection when I install the "Broadcom Wireless Driver, version 5.10.105.0". I can install the driver and everything but nothing happens, can't even see the icon on the system tray. At the moment I'm using the Dell driver but I dont like the Broadcom software that comes with it. Is there anything I have to do to get the connection started when using the "Broadcom Wireless Driver, version 5.10.105.0" driver? Thanks

That's the version I'm running, and I have no problem. Have you verified in Device Manager that you've got the 5.10.105.0 driver installed? Are you able to see any wireless networks, but not connect to them, or you can't even see them?

| Just wanted to say thanks for this thread. While rummaging at my favorite used computer parts store today, I found a Dell 1505 PCIe desktop adapter with an external antenna. Closer inspection revealed that it was a 1505 mini-PCIe card in a desktop adapter, so I snapped it up for $19.95. When I got home, I swapped the 1505 mini card into my Mini 9, and OS X immediately started using it and allowed me to connect to my 802.11a access point. So far, so good. I then installed my OEM Broadcom card in the PCIe adapter and installed it in my mother-in-law's PC, which has been using a (somewhat flakey) wireless bridge to gain access to our home network from the guest house out back. However, her PC is running Vista and it failed to find any suitable drivers for the card. After tearing my hair out for about an hour trying to find drivers at various marginally-trustworthy sites on the interwebz, I suddenly thought that since that card originally came from my Mini 9, the perfect place to look for a driver would be here on MyDellMini.com! Dunno why I didn't think of it sooner. Anyway, to bring an end to this rambling tale, I immediately found this thread and downloaded the R197390.EXE - Broadcom Arcadyne Wireless LAN package, and while the setup program refused to run because it claimed it couldn't find any compatible hardware, I was able to point Vista's Found New Hardware wizard at the directory it had created, and it found and installed the drivers perfectly. So I wound up with two worthwhile upgrades for under twenty bucks - a good afternoon's result thanks to you guys.

jetkins: Glad to hear it! Wek: What OS are you running? Edit: If you're using Vista or Windows 7, here's the Vista version of the 5.10.91.8 driver. I couldn't find the Vista version of the 5.10.105.0 driver. Last edited by cookiemonster; 08-30-2009 at 02:23 PM..
