| I added a light to my 32GB runcore today, and took a few shots of the routing under the front bezel, as well as the backside. I ended up using one of the through-holes in the WLAN pad to route to the runcore. You can't see it too well in the picture, but to secure the LED I used clear epoxy which resulted in really good light transmission - a 3mm led fits right behind the light pipe nicely. Oh, and to just add a bit more details, remember that the negative side of the led (cathode side, the shorter one) should go to the runcore, the positive side should go to pin 52 on the mainboard (3.3V), the resistor goes in series, matters not which side. Thanks UnaClocker! ledRouting1_cropped.jpg[/attachment:1l2oi2as] ledRouting2_cropped.jpg[/attachment:1l2oi2as] |

| It will work, but I think the question is, will it fit? I think it will, but for the sake of a few pennies/cents, get yourself a smaller one.

| No. I found a 3mm one at radioshack. Not enought brightness thought. Funny story about the install. When I did the install, I got a 20 pack of leds. The one i picked happened to be made backwards, so the positive was actually on the negative side. We put the entire thing together then figured out that it did not work. When we got the right direction, i pulled pin 52 right off of the board so i had to use pin 2

| If you want to up the brightness of the LED paint all but the part next to the battery LED silver, and after that dries, black. That will act like a reflector in a flashlight and make the LED brighter. |

| Super super thin.. Like 30 or 32awg wire, it's called "winding wire" at radio shack.

| Thanks guys. I'm thinking this one is gonna happen within the week though I'm not 100% sure. (My wife's already using the system for her project.) I'll certainly gather the parts though now that I have a better idea. The good part it that I don't have the lift the sticker on my RunCore, it's actually not covering the solder point. ![]()
